MMA Fighter

Michael Chandler was a University of Missouri wrestling team walk-on in 2004 and stunned many with the career he amassed. A four-time NCAA qualifier at Missouri, Michael Chandler ended his collegiate wrestling career on March 21, 2009.  He collected his 100th career win as a Missouri Tiger as well as fifth place All-American honors.  As a senior, the Tiger grappler managed a 32-8 record and became only the 16th Missouri wrestler in program history to etch his name in the century club (100 wins). 

Chandler earned runner-up honors in the 2008 and 2009 Big XII Championships and was awarded automatic bids to three of the four NCAA tournaments he competed in.  Chandler compiled a 31-15 record against Big XII opponents and a 100-40 overall record in his four years as a starter.
