With no UFC event scheduled this weekend, the world's leading MMA promotion put together an enticing doubleheader next weekend featuring a bevy of intriguing bouts.

The second event, UFC Fight Night 56, was set to be headlined by former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Mauricio "Shogun" Rua taking on rising contender Jimi Manuwa down in Uberlandia, Brazil.

Unfortunately, a broken foot forced Manuwa to withdraw from the fight just over a week before the scheduled bout. With the event hanging in the balance, the UFC asked Ovince St. Preux to step up on just a weeks' notice to take on Shogun.

The Diamond MMA supporter accepted the bout immediately, and was giddy with excitement as he tweeted to his followers: "Blessings happens in mysterious ways...Thank You Lord... When preparation meets opportunity, that equals SUCCESS..."

We here at Diamond MMA want to wish St. Preux the best of luck next weekend in Brazil!

Hey Ovince, we have your nuts protected, so go out there and focus on beating Shogun!
