    Four straps hold the cup snug against your body. The straps act like suspenders, pulling the cup pocket tight from four directions, so it stays put through strides, stops, crossovers and battles along the boards.

    The pant runs all the way to the ankle, with ANSI A5 cut-resistant fabric at the ankle for added protection from skate blades. Moisture-wicking compression fabric and flatlock seams keep it comfortable under your gear.

    The High Performance Athletic Cup’s polycarbonate shell and shaped geometry help deflect and spread the force of a hit, and the soft elastomer rim helps reduce rubbing.

How does a cut-resistant hockey jock pant protect you?

It starts with the same four-strap design as our Hockey Jock Short. A cup pocket tailor-fit to the Diamond MMA cup is pulled tight from four directions, which helps keep the cup snug against the body when you stride, stop hard or take a hit along the boards. The pant runs to the ankle, where ANSI A5 cut-resistant fabric adds a layer of protection from skate blades.

Protective gear helps reduce risk but can’t prevent every injury.

What does ANSI A5 cut-resistant mean?

A5 is a cut-resistance level under ANSI/ISEA 105, the U.S. standard used to rate cut-resistant materials. Levels run from A1 to A9, and a higher number means more resistance to cuts. The A5 panels add protection from skate blades in high-risk areas. Cut-resistant does not mean cut-proof.
How do the sock tabs work?

Velcro tabs on the front and back of the short hold your hockey socks up. Attach your socks to the tabs and you’re set, with no tape or garter belt needed
