Description
Four straps hold the cup snug against your body. The straps act like suspenders, pulling the cup pocket tight from four directions, so it stays put through strides, stops, crossovers and battles along the boards.
Velcro tabs on the front and back hold your hockey socks up, so you can skip the tape and the garter belt. The compression short uses moisture-wicking fabric and flatlock seams to cut down on chafing under your gear.
The High Performance Athletic Cup’s polycarbonate shell and shaped geometry help deflect and spread the force of a hit, and the soft elastomer rim helps reduce rubbing.

How does a hockey jock short keep a cup from shifting?
Most hockey jocks just have a cup pouch, which leaves the cup room to move. The Diamond MMA Hockey Jock Short has a cup pocket tailor-fit to the Diamond MMA cup, plus four straps that pull that pocket tight from four directions. That tension helps keep the cup snug against the body when you stride, stop hard or take a hit along the boards. The player should be thinking about the game, not adjusting their cup.
Protective gear helps reduce risk but can’t prevent every injury.

Should my kid wear a youth or adult cup?
The youth cup is 5.5" long, 3" wide and 2" deep. The adult cup is 6.75" long, 4" wide and 2.25" deep. Most athletes move to adult sizes around age 12, depending on build.
Can I wash the jock with the cup inside?
Yes. Machine wash the jock in cold water with the cup left in the pouch, then air dry both. You can also wash the cup by hand.
Do the 2pk and 3pk come with extra cups?
No. Multipacks add extra jock shorts. You get one cup with the system.
