The adult cup is 6.75" long, 4" wide and 2.25" deep. The youth cup is 5.5" long, 3" wide and 2" deep. The youth cup is a good fit for teens and smaller-framed players.

Can I wash the short with the cup inside?

Yes. Machine wash the short in cold water with the cup left in the pocket, then air dry both. You can also wash the cup by hand.

All Diamond MMA hockey jocks use the same four-strap design to hold the cup snug against your body. The difference is how they hold your socks and how much cut protection you get. The Hockey Jock Short is a compression jock short with two Velcro tabs on the front and two on the back to hold your socks up. The 3 in 1 Hockey Garter Belt is our Quad Strap Jock with traditional garter straps, sold as a system with the cup or as the garter on its own. The Cut-Resistant Hockey Jock Short is the Hockey Jock Short with ANSI A5 cut-resistant fabric panels in high-risk areas. The Cut-Resistant Hockey Jock Pant runs down to the ankle, with ANSI A5 cut-resistant fabric at the ankle.

Description

Four straps hold the cup snug against your body. The straps act like suspenders, pulling the cup pocket tight from four directions, so it stays put through strides, stops, crossovers and battles along the boards.
Velcro tabs on the front and back hold your hockey socks up, so you can skip the tape and the garter belt. The compression short uses moisture-wicking fabric, flatlock seams and a drawstring waistband for a secure, comfortable fit under your gear.
The cup pocket is tailor-fit to the Diamond MMA High Performance Athletic Cup. Add one here, or use the Diamond MMA cup you already have.

The Diamond MMA Hockey Jock Short has a cup pocket tailor-fit to the Diamond MMA cup, plus four straps that pull that pocket tight from four directions. That tension helps keep the cup snug against the body when you stride, stop hard or take a hit along the boards. The player should be thinking about the game, not adjusting their cup.
