Description
Premium Performance Shorts With Built-In Shift-Proof Groin Protection
The Diamond MMA Performance Short Jock System is our most complete protection. It’s a premium athletic short with our quad strap jock built right inside, so you get the short, the jock and the cup in one piece.
Four straps inside the short hold the athletic cup snug against your body, pulling the cup pocket tight from four directions. On the outside, it’s a clean, stretch athletic short that ends just above the knee. Nothing to layer underneath. Pull it on and go.
Most jock straps and compression shorts leave room for the cup to shift, ride up or bunch when you move. The Performance Short Jock helps keep it centered and in place through sprints, slides, kicks and scrambles, so you stay focused on the game, not on adjusting your cup.
Built for athletes who train hard and compete harder: MMA, Muay Thai, jiu jitsu, baseball, hockey, football, lacrosse, motocross and tactical training. Serious protection that moves the way you do.
What’s included
One Performance Short with the built-in jock. The cup is sold separately. 2pk and 3pk add extra shorts.

How does a performance short with a built-in jock keep a cup from shifting?
Most compression jock shorts just have a cup pouch, which leaves the cup floating around. The Diamond MMA Performance Short Jock has a cup pocket tailored to the Diamond MMA cup, plus four straps that pull that pocket tight from four directions. That tension helps keep the cup snug against the body when you sprint, change direction, slide or hit the mat. The athlete should be thinking about the game, not adjusting their cup.
Protective gear helps reduce risk but can’t prevent every injury.

Frequently asked questions
What size Performance Short Jock should I get?
Measure around your natural waist, just above the hips, and match it to the size guide: Small 28–30", Medium 31–33", Large 34–36", X Large 37–40". Between sizes? Athletes with bigger thighs or glutes usually size up. Leaner builds may prefer the closer fit.
Which should I get: the Quad Strap Jock, Compression Jock Short or Performance Short?
All three use the same four-strap design and tailor-fit cup pocket. The difference is what’s built around the jock.
Quad Strap Jock: A traditional jock strap you wear under your own shorts, pants, or uniform.
Compression Jock Short: The Quad Strap Jock with a compression short built around it. The two front straps sit inside the short, and the two back straps are built into the short. It ends about mid-thigh.
Performance Short With Built-In Jock: Made to wear as your outer short. All four straps are inside, and it ends just above the knee.
Can I wear it as my regular training short?
Yes. It’s made to be worn as an outer short. All four straps are on the inside, and the short ends just above the knee, so you can train, practice or compete in it without a separate jock underneath.
Should my kid wear a youth or adult cup?
The youth cup is 5.5" long, 3" wide and 2" deep. The adult cup is 6.75" long, 4" wide and 2.25" deep. Most athletes move to adult sizes around age 12, depending on build.
Can I wash the jock with the cup inside?
Yes. Machine wash the jock in cold water with the cup left in the pouch, then air dry both. You can also wash the cup by hand.
Do the 2pk and 3pk come with extra cups?
No. Multipacks add extra jock shorts. You get one cup with the system.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is calculated at checkout, with Ground, 2-Day and Overnight options. U.S. orders over $175 ship free.
What if it doesn’t fit?
Exchanges are free, so you can swap for the right size. You can also return it within 30 days of delivery, even if you’ve worn it. Add Checkout+ at checkout for free returns and package protection.
What does the warranty cover?
The athletic cup has a lifetime warranty. Every other Diamond MMA product, including the jock short, has a 30-day warranty. Fill out the Warranty Claim Form if you have a problem.
